He was in his 2nd term as an elected Council member and ran for mayor in the 11/4/25 election. This is Jim’s 6th term as a Council member. He serves on the following Committees: Personnel, Streets, and Building Permits. Jim works as an Engineer for the City of Omaha Fire Department. He is also a trained paramedic, and is trained in Haz-mat. He brings much knowledge in emergency management to our city council. Jim has 3 children and stepchildren.
